I started my apprenticeship at 17 after doing a year at college and realising it wasn’t for me. I’ve since worked my way up in the salon after doing all my training through Johnsons and going on courses in Wella and Paul Mitchell. It definitely was the best way for me to start my career, I absolutely love my job and everyone I work with.

I’ve worked at Johnson’s for the past 17 years. Before joining the Johnson’s team I first lived in Germany for 1 year . Ive loved every moment at Johnsons and its made me a better stylist and the person who i am today.

At the age of 16 I made the choice to start my career at Johnson’s hairdressers. I was successfully enrolled onto the Johnsons apprenticeship scheme and after a few years I became part of the junior@ team where I furthered my career as an apprentice hairdresser. After this I then successfully become a stylist with Johnson’s team in the main salon. 11 years on and I am still with the family run business and couldn’t of picked a better place to start my career.

I joined Johnson’s as a saturday girl aged 13. It didn’t take me long to realise that hairdressing was the career for me. The close knit team at Johnson’s are so lovely to work with. I received excellent training and attended numerous courses at places such as Wella and L’oreal fifteen years later I continue to enjoy my time at Johnson’s in this ever evolving and exciting industry.

I started at Johnson’s when I left school at 16. Apprenticeships are the way forward in my eye, you learn so much more and so much quicker being in a salon than going to colleague. Once qualifying to become part of the training team. I have been given so many amazing opportunities from Johnsons it is such  good company to work for. Our team are so supportive and encouraging, it’s so nice to work for a family ran business.
